3/21/2024 0 Comments Incinerator scene toy story 3It’s very much clear they’re doing this to make up for their time being with Lotso. It's rough, but by working together, they can still have fun. Lotso's old henchtoys tag teaming to be played with by the playful and rough toddlers of the Caterpillar Room, rather than leaving a single group of toys to suffer alone, all while Barbie and Ken cheer and support them.Not to mention that it looks like Barbie and Ken adopted Big Baby.Not So Stoic for kids, and just as powerful. Chuckles the Clown smiling at the end.Kind of brings a "Back to normal" vibe to it. The way Potato Head looks with disgust at Woody's dancing.The smile he gives her afterwards is just the icing on the cake.Potato Head saying "You have saved our lives. Potato Head finally warming up to the Green Aliens calling them "his boys" with both him and Mrs. The beginning, where we see Andy playing with the toys as a little boy, the way we remember from the first two films, underscored by "You've Got a Friend In Me." Doubles as a Tear Jerker, especially when the song ends on "Our friendship will never die.".Now ready to face the end Together in Death. But the one he finishes off the chain with? Slinky, a dog he's been buddies with since the start. Obviously, Buzz is one of the people he holds onto. Also of note, Woody holding two people's hands, completing the chain of toys.Potato Head holds Rex's hand after spending the entire trilogy bad-mouthing him. This is a subtle moment during the incinerator scene Mr.And then we see the three green aliens controlling it intone, "The Claaaaaaaaaaaw." Never have those two words sounded so beautiful. The real kicker comes just after Woody shuts his eyes - suddenly, a bright blue light appears from above, and THE FREAKING CLAW comes hurtling down like the hand of God and grabs the toys right out of mortal danger.The fact that Buzz starts it by holding Jessie's hand makes it all the sweeter. When Andy's toys are facing the incinerator and they calmly accept their fate and comfort each other by joining hands, every one of them.And on top of it all, Woody gives up his place in the college box, to make sure that his friends got a loving home. Operation: Playtime was a success after all. Andy is leaving, but he played with them one last time. It's what they've wanted the whole movie.
